Diversity Research Environment Promotion/ Gender Joint Symposium
Kanazawa University is committed to promoting gender equality and contributing to the community and society, aiming to be "a university that is loved by the community and shines in the world". In addition, Kanazawa University was selected in 2021 for the project "Initiative for Realization of Diversity Research Environment (Advanced Type)," a subsidized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for fostering human resources for science and technology, and is working on improving the environment and raising awareness to realize a more comprehensive diversity education and research environment that goes beyond the promotion of gender equality.
Institute for Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion will hold a symposium to deepen understanding of diversity promotion, which is implemented not only as a part of social responsibility but also as one of the measures to promote the growth of human resources and organizations, and to improve the international communication capability of Kanazawa University. In this symposium, we plan to connect online with Dr. Katalin Karico, the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2023, to give a lecture and have a dialogue with students from Kanazawa University.
We look forward to your participation!
