As of March 6, 2024, five items on Kanazawa University, School of Medicine Old Book Depository, School of Medicine Anatomy Specimen Repository, School of Medicine Pathology Specimen Depository, School of Medicine Old South Seomyeon Main Gate and Brick Wall, School of Medicine North Seomyeon Brick Wall, were registered as tangible cultural properties as they meet the criteria of "contributing to the historical landscape of the country".
On May 21, Kaname Miura Trustee from Kanazawa University, Osamu Hori Dean from Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences, Yasuhiko Yamamoto? ?Faculty of Medicine, Shin Kurachi Faculty of Medicine Professor, and Atsutomo Matsunaga Assistant Professor from University Museum attended the ceremony at Kanazawa City Hall, where Kanazawa Mayor Taku Murayama presented the certificate of registration.
The five cultural properties registered today are buildings that represent the history and tradition of Kanazawa University.
