As part of support activities for children affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake 2024, students from Kanazawa University Undergraduate Training Course for School Nurses created a poster wishing for the mental and physical health of children and on December 25, presented it to the health room of Kawai Elementary School (one of six elementary schools in the Wajima district).
Students prepared poster featuring colorful animals encouraging people to wash their hands, as well as "healthy fortune-telling slips" that provide hints for healthy living, in order to help people maintain their physical and mental health even in the wake of the earthquake.
The children were asked to find the letters they have drawn on the fortune slip on a bulletin board and find health advice, which allows them to have fun while learning about healthy lifestyle habits. Every morning, during breaks, after school, and throughout the day, there are always smiling faces of children drawing their "health fortune slips" in front of the bulletin board in the health room.
