5月30日，本学の学生らが七尾市立東湊小学校を訪れ，3年生22名と音楽を通した交流企画「みんなでつくる！音楽祭 in 東湊小」を行いました。本学から参加したのは，人間社会学域学校教育学類の音楽科学グループ2年生4名と4年生1名，そして人間社会環境研究科地域創造学専攻の1年生1名，人間社会学域学校教育学類の教員2名の計８名です。本科目グループでは2024年度より能登の教育支援として音楽交流活動を行っています。学生らは，どんな曲が喜ばれるか，どんな楽器に興味を持ってもらえるか，どんな声かけをすればスムーズに進行できるか，何度も話し合い，試行錯誤をしながら練習を重ねてきました。
The program included performances on trumpet, cajon, shamisen, contrabass, do-re-mi pipe, and other instruments rarely seen in Japan, quizzes to guess the names of songs, and chorus singing. The children were surprised by the tones of the instruments they had never heard before, were curious about the Japanese instruments and the double bass, which is as tall as an adult, listened carefully to the quiz, and joined the chorus in high spirits.
