On June 4, the Hokuriku Region Management Training Course for National University Corporations was held with 29 participants from 6 institutions.
This training course is designed to improve the management skills of staff members who have been promoted to the Executive Director and Director ranks for less than three years.
First, Trustee Yasushi Takinami, in charge of administration, finance, and facilities and Secretary General of Kanazawa University, gave a lecture titled "Various Circumstances Surrounding Higher Education and Roles of Managers". Nobuhiko Kasai from BCon Learning Services, Inc. then gave a lecture on the management of "organization" and "people" required of managers.
In the midst of a drastically changing environment surrounding national university corporations, participants learned about the roles and behaviors required of managers in the new era and actively exchanged opinions, building a network that transcended institutional boundaries.
