On June 5, Health Service Center held a food education program "Casual Western Cooking Class with Noto Ingredients" as part of its student support program. 21 students, including 4 international students, and faculty members participated. As a Noto support project, chef Manabu Murakami of "Meal", a restaurant in Kanazawa, was asked to come up with a menu using Noto ingredients.

Under the guidance of instructor Murakami, the participating students were divided into 6 groups and cooked "rice omelet with rice and eggs from Noto". Murakami explained the cooking method in an easy-to-understand manner by demonstrating how to mix eggs, air, and oil in the best condition, saying "Omelette rice may seem like a simple dish, but because it is a basic dish, it is filled with many cooking techniques that only a professional can use." After eating the omelette, the participants also tasted Noto salt cream puffs prepared by Murakami.

Students said, "It was very difficult to cook the eggs, and it was a battle against time," "I thought the egg wrapping method needed to be trained. I will do my best," "The chef was amazing," "I struggled with cooking the eggs, but I felt happy that creative cooking is so much fun. I was happy to have made friends," and "It was a good time for me to hear various information about cooking during the question time."
