On June 2, Emeritus Professor the title conferment ceremony was held at a hotel in Kanazawa City. 23 new members became Emeritus Professor as of April 1.
At the ceremony, President Takashi Wada handed each attendee a certificate oftitle and expressed his gratitude and congratulations for their significant contributions during his tenure. Emeritus Professor Hiroyuki Nakamura gave an address of thanks on behalf of the recipients.
In the memorial lecture for the Emeritus Professor social gathering that followed, President Wada gave a lecture entitled "Kanazawa University Future Vision 'Aspiration' - Contribute to Society by Future-oriented Intelligence with All Kanazawa University" and Professor Takuro Adachi of Institute for the Study of Ancient Civilizations and Cultural Resources gave a lecture entitled "Restoration and Reconstruction of Cultural Properties Damaged in the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Oku-noto Heavy Rain. Afterwards, the participants deepened their friendship at a round-table meeting with their seniors Emeritus Professor.
