On November 13, students from Kanazawa University visited Suzu City Houryu Elementary and Junior High School and held an music-based exchange project "Let's Create Together! Music Festival." A total of 8 students participated from Kanazawa University, including 1 second-year student, 1 third-year student, and 2 fourth-year students in the music subject group of College of Human and Social Sciences School of Teacher Education, 2 first-year students in Graduate School of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies, Division of Regional Development Studies, and 2 teachers in Institute of Human and Social Sciences Faculty of Education. This group of students has been conducting music exchange activities as educational support for Noto since 2024.

The program featured performances with instruments that are rarely seen, such as the trumpet, cajon, glockenspiel, toy piano, and Do-Re-Mi pipes. It also included a quiz where participants guessed song titles, as well as a choir performance. Additionally, the children had the chance to experience playing the Do-Re-Mi pipes themselves. To ensure a smooth experience, the students carefully planned their instructions and conducted several practice runs. Thanks to their preparation, every child was able to try the Do-Re-Mi pipes. We were able to witness not only the children's focused expressions as they engaged seriously with the instruments, but also their awe at the rare instruments and their energetic, joyful singing.
